DEMILITARIZATION MACHINERY & EQUIPMENT

GMT-DEMIL's policy is to design simple, reliable and safe automatic machines that require a minimum of training to operate. Manufactured here in UK to our own designs.

1) DISASSEMBLY - Small Arms Ammunition.

1A) DISASSEMBLY MACHINE - Small Arms Ammunition -Mod. 12

This automatic disassembly machine feeds pre sorted live small arms ammunition cartridges from a bowl feeder into a vertical column. The column feeds individual cartridges into a horizontal  line. These then move from stage to stage, per cycle, towards the de-bulleting tool position. Incorrect calibre cartridges are rejected from the line before reaching the de-bullet tool. The cartridges are debulleted by a horizontal mechanical clamp and pull process, one cartridge per machine cycle. The propellant filled case is mechanically held, inverted and vibrated. The propellant falls out of the case by gravity leaving an empty primed case. Electro mechanical stage checks are made with each cycle which stops the machine automatically if a function does not perform.

The cartridge is disassembled into bullet, propellant and primed case.

Rate of 2000 - 3600 cartridges per hour.

The machine is suitable to be used with most small arms ammunition having less than 14.5mm diameter projectiles. The machinery is adjusted and tooled to operate with one type of fixed ammunition, at any one time. Additional tool sets are required for each separate calibre or type.

Guide Price: ONE MACHINE inc. x1 calibre tool set = GBP 108,000
Additional calibre tool sets Price = GBP 23,000
